Basic Laws

City of Los Santos Language & Culture Laws:
You must speak english in public areas / with the service providers and cashiers / with Law Enforcement Officers / in U.S. education institutions. All legal cultures are allowed to celebrate their festivals and follow the tradition , to mention remembrance days.

The Ownership Laws:
This law stipulates the right to ownership and other real rights in accordance with the Constitution. The right to ownership can be acquired by all domestic and foreign natural persons and legal entities, including the units of local Government, under conditions and in a manner stipulated by this and other laws.

The legal protection of ownership is guaranteed. The owner has the right to keep, fully use or manage at its own will the item in its possession, if this is not in collision with a law or with some right of some other person.

The owner accomplishes its right to property in accordance with the nature and purpose of the item, as well as the general interests established by law.

It is forbidden to exercise the right to ownership against the purpose for which it is recognised and established by law, or against the morale of the society.

The right to ownership can not be exercised with the purpose of causing harm to another person or with the purpose of preventing the other person to exercise its right.

The right to ownership can be limited or taken away when it is matter of public interest established by law.

With regards to their spatial position, items are movable and immovable.
Moveable items are those that in their entirety can move or be moved from one place to another without, at the same time, damaging their essence.

Immovble items are those items that can not move or be moved from one place to another without damaging their essence at the same time. Immovable items are lands (agricultural, construction, forest and pasture) and buildings, as well as installations raised over them or under them and which are permanently connected to them.

The Public Relations Laws:
Individuals are provided certain expectations of privacy under the law, of which public relation employees need to be aware. Violating someone's rights to privacy can be a major legal problem for any organization. Basically, the law differentiates between public and private forums and figures. Individuals have the right to avoid harassment and withhold information about themselves that could come under public scrutiny. Information should not be disseminated if it is not of public concern, is highly offensive or if the person had a reasonable expectation of privacy.

Public relation practitioners must be careful to avoid infringing on trademark or copyright protection laws.
Copyrighted material may be used if it is attributed to the original owner or if it is used for criticism, comment, news reporting, education or research. However, the safest bet is to always gain permission from the original owner before using copyrighted material.

The Human Rights Laws:
All human rights are universal, indivisible and interdependent and interrelated. The international community must treat human rights globally in a fair and equal manner, on the same footing, and with the same emphasis. While the significance of national and regional particularities and various historical, cultural and religious backgrounds must be borne in mind, it is the duty of States, regardless of their political, economic and cultural systems, to promote and protect all human rights and fundamental freedoms.
